Larry, my best cat of all time, Potato (her nickname: her real name was Poteet, after Steve Canyon’s sister. Do you remember him?) also liked to take baths with me. She would perch on my kneecap with her tail swishing back and forth in the water, grooming herself as I groomed myself! 🙂
Yes, they like to sharpen their claws on EVERYTHING. Luckily that includes special scratching posts and an entire carpeted “cat condo-tree” that I got for them that stands in the living room.
Life is so exhausting for a cat! I love our little feline friends and I’m sure we can learn a lot from them about how to unwind after a busy day at work (or after a busy day of sleeping, eating and scratching in the case of cats). 🙂
Might I add 2 hours annually in master’s bathtub. Max and Larry enjoy this activity immensely…..probably Larry more than Max. LOL
