I Â do know that I said no more posts about pain.
But I fell on Christmas Day chasing Ophelia as she escaped out the back door yet again. There are three steps leading down to the ground and they were slippery and I didn’t make it.
Luckily the ground was very soggy and soft, so no broken bones. And I did catch Ophelia.
But my pain is very much increased, and it has gotten worse as the days have gone by. I will have to call the doctor after New Year’s is over.
When I feel a bit better, I will celebrate here all the wonderful things about 2016. And there were many! 🙂
Meanwhile, let me just say that I hope you each have a Very Happy New Year!
Hope your pain eases up soon. Blessings!

Thanks, Larry. I’m still recovering from the one glass of pinot noir I had at our choir holiday party on the 30th. LOL. 🙂 Happy New Year!

Feel better soon, Timi. I’m also seeing in the new year with pain as I wrenched my left arm and shoulder last night in bed. Let’s hope the rest of the year is better for us both.

Oh Val, I’m so sorry! My son Nick wrenched his neck the day after Christmas napping on his couch and is still suffering. It’s amazing how injurious sleeping postures can be! I hope that you and he and I all recover soon, so that we can enjoy the rest of this new year with ease! 🙂

Thanks, April. My doctors are not in the office today, apparently for the holiday, and I really do not want to go to the emergency room. So I’ll hang in there for another day. The nights are the worst, as you may imagine… 😛

Oh, Timi, you seem to be one of the most accident-prone people I know. Falling like that is the last thing you need, especially over Christmas – and your birthday, too! I hope you get pain relief very soon!

Thank you, Anne. The pain is hanging in there, but so am I! 🙂 And it’s wonderful to look forward to my trip to Iceland in May. I’m doing it solo, by the way, which relates back to your earlier post about preferring solo travel. 😉

And I am sure you are stronger than that pain! I’m sending you reinforcement in spirit. 🙂
Oh wow! That is awesome! I can just imagine how much fun you’ll have. And solo travel is really better (don’t tell my family – haha!) I did it in Europe before I the hubby and the little one and it was an experience I will always remember and I’m definitely happy I did it.
