In a continuation from my last post, but working backward, I found this file of a double-page spread from my high school literary magazine, Artes. These are two pencil sketches of the literally hundreds, if not more, that I did in Mr. McCarty’s art rooms. I think these two are from 1968:
On the left is my friend Susan F., studying in the drawing & painting room. On the right is a tub for clay and girls working on ceramics across the adjacent potter’s room.
I think there were also some poems of mine in this edition of Artes, but luckily for you I cannot find them now! 😉
Now Susan appears to be really in deep thought. Did you recall what was she preparing for?
