After getting the wonderful news that I don’t have cancer, I went out and tackled the long-neglected (as in perhaps three years) perennial shade flower bed in the back yard at the condo. The ground was nice and soft, and I managed to pull up a lot of noxious weeds by their roots, and entire root systems. Which would have been impossible later in the season. Yay for me!

Then I went back around to the front to put away my gardening tools, and guess who was watching out the front door? Ophelia!

Happy gardening. So pleased that you are well.

Yes indeed. The Spirit always supplies strength and protection. Thanks for sharing your gardening experience. I miss terribly the gardening joys. Can’t have one where I live now.

I am a very sporadic, lackadaisical gardener, but whenever I get out there and do it, I wonder why I don’t do it more often. Digging in the dirt brings me great joy, somehow! 😛

I’m so glad the health news is good.
I’m jealous that you’ve been able to spend some time weeding. My garden needs it, but it’s been too wet to get out there.

It was just right for it yesterday–the ground was soft but not muddy. Today it started raining, which is supposed to continue for at least two more days, with the temperatures steadily falling. Spring, after all! 😛

Our forecast for the middle of the week is sunny days in the low 20s. I shall be out there then getting ridding of the weeds. 🙂
