Basically, I haven’t been doing much at all lately. Went to some of my classes. And a meeting of the local chapter of my medieval group.
Had a friend over to watch a DVD and have black cherry/vanilla ice cream floats and nachos with guacamole salsa. Took a short jaunt over to Yellow Springs, a little college town beloved by old hippies like me, where I took some pictures.
But mostly I’m just being home, alone.
I guess I’m depressed.
I am thinking of going to Washington, D.C., in a couple of weeks, to visit an old friend from college, however. If I can work up the energy and enthusiasm to actually do it, that is. I bought the air ticket, but I have a few more hours in which I can cancel it without a penalty. So we shall see….
I would suggest throwing a bucket of red, purple and shocking pink paint on a large piece of canvas…Put the canvas on the floor outside….and then play with the paint. It will help 🙂 xxx

Timi, being depressed is no fun. So, go to DC, get involved in a protest march, share sandwiches on the mall, tell your Senator what you think of him and live largely. I love the flag over your doorway.

I hope you get up and get going despite these hard times. I can hardly stay out of bed for a few hours, probably due to the heat and humidity and ambient stress. I hope you feel better in all ways soon, and get to travel and have more fun.

The doldrums, ugh. I know what it can be like so I hope things start brightening up for you, soon, Timi. (I hope you didn’t cancel that ticket!) *hugs*
