My friend Christa needed a place to stash her kitty today because the exterminators were coming to her house. So Artemis is here visiting Ophelia and Sissy and me while Christa is at work.
Artemis is much younger and friskier than Ophelia and Sissy. But just as lovely:

Cats are wonderful animals, though we haven’t had one since our last two died a few years ago. I hope Artemis enjoyed her little holiday with you.

She did, but guess what? She brought us….fleas! 😦 Her owner apologized profusely but it has been a major undertaking getting rid of them. Luckily I had her confined to one (large) room. Unluckily, that room was my bedroom! 😛
