I didn’t have any plans for Thanksgiving, which here in the USA was a couple of days ago. But then I got a text in the early evening from Summer, my almost-daughter-in-law and mother of my only grandchild, that they wanted to stop by and bring me some food.
Woo hoo! This was exciting!! π
They came 15 minutes later, while I was still in the basement doing laundry: my older son Nick, his longtime girlfriend Summer, and their almost four-month-old baby, Chloe.
Plus they brought me a Thanksgiving dinner of turkey and all the fixings. Yummy! π
So here are some photos. The ones of Summer and Chloe were taken earlier at their house, while the ones with Chloe and me were taken here at my condo.
(As you can see, I hadn’t taken the time to brush my hair–oops! π And I haven’t figured out yet how to crop photos in this new WordPress editor. Oh well! )

I don’t think that rose had any thorns. β€
Chloe has changed so much from the last time I was with her. She’s very aware and curious, and she’s quite strong! Plus she has the cutest chubby feet and toes. β€
In my next post, I will add some more photos of Chloe, my first grandchild who of course I think is the most adorable child on Earth! π
What a little sweetheart! π You’re one lucky grandmother! π
